A Catastrophe by Jacob Thomas

If the world was opposite
to what it is today,
THEN,
The world will be a better place to live in
Than it is today
'Cause this world
Has everything against god.

I would say:
Oh! God change me
Change this world into a better place to live in.

God heard my prayers
He changed the world once again.
It was peace and quietness
Which ruled the world

Alas! An apple became
Rotten again
So did the world

Once again there was bloodshed
Once again there was disaster
And now it became a habit
And this time man ruled god.

This isn't the place to live in!

I would say:
Oh! God change me
Change the world into
A better place to live in

And now ,
My prayers were heard no more.

All kids are born genius, but crushed by the society - By: Vishal Kurian

"Normal" is a social standard created by those who feel they are right for living their own lifestyle; therefore it is a concept that can be used as a weapon against others to make them feel inadequate as though they could never measure up to this standard. In other word, it is a box created by people to make others feel different. But, the intelligent ones know that there is no such box and normality is boring.

Try to think for too long and you may become frustrated with the world's issues. But try not to think long enough and you will become the issues that frustrate the world.

Another concept which is more boring is "religion and caste discrimination". Just for the purpose of being superior from one another,  some people long before created the caste system and its laws. Caste ideas should never be praised or followed by the new generation, especially when we have proven that everyone is equal.

I admire people who have a great sense of power in  life, who really know themselves and act on how they can improve themselves, their communities and the world. I appreciate the unusual or ordinary people who are authentic, who-by-nature, would more readily admit their fears than try to cover them up. I'm not concluding that the society is "evil"or anything. I just want to tell the world of  some of the "orthodox" practices.

Doing what I love the most! - Photography

Everything in our life is a reflection of a choice we made.

Spread love wherever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.

A new beginning

Well, I still can't believe my schooldays are over. I remember looking at the students of the college nearby and thinking, 'Wow! They are so grown up.' But here I am, in a college.

Its kind of hard to accept it, but its slowly setting in. The college I am in is like none other. I say this, because believe it or not, we study a little bit of everything-every single thing.

A typical day starts off at 6.15 in the morning with P.T. Yes, that's right- Physical Training. But considering how beautiful the campus is, its just an opportunity to get in some fresh air and appreciate nature.

The difference between what I am, and what you made me.

There will come, them moments,
When you can hear yourself laugh and smile,
And you nod at heads smiling at you,
You can smell the flowers a mile away,
you can breathe in the divine scent.
When the sun playfully lights up your strands of beautiful hair,
You just spread your arms out wide and scream with all your might.

Then there comes those days,
When the wind is too strong, and then sun is too low,
When the world just keeps ticking, and the people?
The people make it evident that they can survive with you .

They pass by, and you say hello,
Cue the winks, looks and curvy lips,
And the never ending hi-fi’s

Yes it’s a wonderful day; the trees looked just fine,
You learned, you had your thought of the day,
The day was as happy as it could be,
Though it would seem like all work and no play.

All you can do is look forward.
Because you’re alone, and it’s darkness, regardless of your how your eyelids are positioned.

The paintings on the walls make everything look so damn heavenly,
The classy white paint raises our standard,
The adorable peons give the place a spark,
And then, them (a peculiar group of human beings they are), they talk.

They puff, polish and paint their faces,
And say they work for our good.
They tear down souls that survived,
And without shame, they again claim to have been working for our good.

Its this day when you don’t know what to do with yourself,
When you can do so much and want to do nothing,
All because of a few people,
You feel you ebbing away into some lonely yard.

Sometimes, all you need to do is look at me and smile.
And the world is all right again.
You teach me every day; you claim to have the right to punish me too,
What bad will a smile do?
