I AM

A Simile Poem written by Bhavna Raj of Class VI-A

I am as safe as

a pearl in a shell

Within the hands of my parents

I am as precious as

a diamond chain

for my sweet grandparents

I am as happy as

a bird set out of a cage

on the bike with my brother

I am as learned as

an eleven year old child

Just because of my teachers

I am as playful as a child in the park

with all of my friends.
