A Lesson For Sudheesh
There's a boy named Sudheesh. He is very intelligent. He gets high marks in almost all exams and he completes his notes on time. But, he is a very unfriendly boy. He always engages in a fight with the other boys and does not cooperate with his classmates. He always wants to be the leader and will not accept the ideas of others.
So, one day something happened...
The science teacher gave a group activity. Each team had to choose their own leader. Sudheesh said, “I am going to be the new leader and there is no change in that.” Others knew it was dangerous to argue with him so they promptly agreed. They started doing the work He did not even care to listen to others' ideas and said, “Just keep quiet! I have better ideas than yours!”. When the results came, the teacher asked him “Who did this? This is full of wrong points,” Sudheesh blames it on other members. The others went in person* and told what had happened.
When another activity was given and the leaders were chosen by the teacher herself, he became very angry because he was not one of the leaders. When he tried to do anything he could the others excluded him and said. “You did not allow us to do anything in the last activity, so this time you suffer.”
This opened his eyes. He realized what it was to be left alone when you were doing something together. He also understands that co-operation and team-spirit are needed for the success of a group.
After the incident, Sudheesh became a good member of the team, a good team leader and finally a good friend to all.
